Wireless networks extend the benefits of traditional fixed infrastructure, so CBO have increased our capability to provide the complete 'end-to end' solutions comprising integrated wireless and fixed, communications networks. Wireless design principles do not change as often as the technology, so we continue to design and scope our solutions with room for growth in bandwidth, whilst not congesting the RF Spectrum. We do not operate in a niche market; we design and deliver solutions that work.
Although well versed in fixed TCPIP network routing and switching protocols, CBO has specialised experience within the wireless environment having deployed numerous solutions through multiple industry partners and a dozen vendors with CBO providing services on their behalf. In the area of integrated (voice, video and data) communications, CBO’s excellent planning, designing and implementation processes see us ranked amongst the best in the industry. It is an imperative deliverable for CBO to ensure that the interoperability of devices meets our client's business requirements.
CBO solutions entail projects such as: Solar Powered Repeater Trailers; FSO (Laser Links); Licensed Microwave; Spread Spectrum Wireless; Point to Point subscriber systems; Wireless LAN Controller and Light Weight Access Point solutions to Advanced WLAN MESH networks. We have deployed network equipment from a wide range of vendors, including Cisco, 3Com, Proxim, Solectek, D-link, AirMagnet (Gold Partner), Tsunami, HP Procurve, Motorola/Symbol, MRV, Alcatel, Terrabeam, Aruba, RAD, Netcomm, BlueSocket, SkyPilot and LightPointe.
Our largest wireless deployment site to date is a WLAN MESH network covering around 8000km2 (and comprising of more than 70 Cisco MESH links) it is currently the largest of its kind in Australia. Our network engineering team is currently engaged with an expansion project which will enhance the Cisco MESH network to meet or exceed the mission critical business needs of our client.
